Jefferson’s Safe Haven is entering an exciting new chapter of growth focused on expanding refuge for rescued animals and strengthening community connection.

Through our $550,000 Building the Future Campaign, we will expand and climate-adapt the sanctuary barn, increase safe housing capacity from 40% more rescues, upgrade critical infrastructure, and strengthen volunteer, educational, and animal care programs.

This next phase will allow more animals to find lifelong safety and compassionate care while creating even greater opportunities for people to learn, serve, and connect through the sanctuary.

Much of the labor for this project will be donated by skilled community members and partners, allowing every gift to go even further.
